Little Valley, New York
The following photos from Phil Palen from the Gowanda Area Historical Society show the Erie Railroad in Little Valley circa 1860-1870. Note the wide (6-foot) gauge track.
The following two photos show the station in 1909. The left photo below seems to show the rectangular water tower shown in the photos above. This indicates that the station stood in the same location, but was greatly modified or is perhaps a new station entirely.
Little Valley was also served by the Western New York and Pennsylvania Traction company whose line paralleled the Erie between Little Valley and Salamanca. The postcard below shows the trolley going through the main square into town.
