Fredonia is a village on the Dunkirk, Allegany Valley and Pittsburgh Railroad.

A DAV&P northbound train at “Fort Hill”, Fredonia, New York. From the archives of the Historical Society of Dunkirk, New York. The locomotive is believed to be one of the Warren & Venango engines, 1 – 5 which became DAV&P 6 – 10. Built by Brooks, 1872.
